Upon signing Tiger Racing Limited’s “terms & conditions” on the Tiger order forms you are agreeing to all the “Term & Conditions” set out below. If you have signed the Tiger order form without asking to see a copy of Tiger Racing Limited’s “Terms & Conditions” it is taken that you agree to all the “Terms & Conditions” set out.
The term “Delivery Date” means the date for pick up by the customer. Tiger will allocate the delivery date and the customer should pick up or arrange for pick up of the goods within 3 weeks of the delivery date. Tiger has a delivery service, please ask for a quotation. Failure to pick up within this period the customer will forfeit their deposit and Tiger will endeavour to resell the said goods. For ERA racing cars and kits delivery will be arranged by Tiger to your home or office at a nominal cost.
Tiger shall warrantee all bespoke Tiger parts for a period of 1 year from date of purchase and longer in some cases were it can be shown that an item was not fitted to the Tiger until a later date. The fitting of all parts should have been done with good care and attention to correct fitting. If there should be any problem with fitting the Tiger parts, advice should be taken by the customer from either of Tiger’s branches in UK. Parts returned to Tiger and found to be faulty will be replaced. There are no warranties on ERA race cars and race kits due to the stresses or indeed any other Tiger model if used on track. For parts such as electrical parts as an example, the warrantee and conditions of the original supplier will be used and their conditions of trading enforced.
Engines
New engines will be warranted by Tiger. New Ford supplied engines must have correct service schedule and proof of such. Ford parts must be used to service Ford engines.
Factory Built Cars
New factory built cars are warranted for 12 months – usual servicing required – please ask Tiger. All models are not warranted if used on track! – we have dedicated race cars for such use.
Used Tiger/ERA
Used cars are warranted for a period of 3 months – usually servicing required – please ask Tiger. Used cars not warranted if used on track – we have dedicated race cars for such use.
Discounted and Special Pricing
Used cars with negotiated discount – i.e. no profit for Tiger/ERA – will be taken as a trade deal. No warrantee will be given and a receipt saying “sold as seen no warranty” will be given and customer will be asked to sign.
Donor and Used Parts
Donor or used parts are not warranted by Tiger. Tiger only supplies these as a service to customer.
Wording
The words “recon” or “remanufacture” is not to be taken to mean “Fully Reconditioned”. A fully reconditioned part is a much higher standard of car part.
The wording “coloured bodywork” is not to be taken as spray painted bodywork. Spray painted bodywork is a much higher standard of finish. Gel coat finishes always need attention to “flash lines” and small areas might need work on them (small amounts of gel are available free of charge from tiger). Gel coats can fade over a period and tiger does not guarantee that any colour will hold true.
MOT
A used car with new M.O.T certificate is not to be taken as mechanically sound.
Motor Cycle Parts
All Motor Cycle Engines and Gear Boxes sold are not warranted. All used Tigers with Motor Cycle Engines fitted will not have the engine and gear box warranted.
Exchange Items
All exchange items must be returned within 1 week of purchase.
Specifications
If any customer is unsure of specification on any Tiger part, product, car or service the customer must (sensibly) enquire to the specification and satisfy themselves, in writing from Tiger, before signing Tiger Racing Limited “Terms & Conditions”.
Over Tiger Racing Limited’s 17 years of trading it has been established that usually there is a waiting list to pick up the parts or goods. This waiting list is not usually under 2 months. During this minimum 2 months period it gives any customer to check ALL Tigers specifications and manufacturing processes, to ask questions, visit Tiger if required, write to us and satisfy them selves that the specification is exactly what they are ordering.
